Following a series of owners, the Hall was ultimately entrusted to the Moreton-in-Marsh Town Council in 1974. In 1984, the Redesdale Hall Trust was established to manage the property and ensure its continued use for the benefit of the community.

In April 2023, the Trust became a charitable incorporated organisation, providing greater protection for our trustees. Our core purpose remains the same: to uphold the legacy of the Hall as a vibrant village hall, accessible to all residents of Moreton-in-Marsh and the surrounding area.

The Hall offers a space for meetings, lectures, classes, and a variety of recreational activities, fostering a strong sense of community. We are currently undertaking essential repairs and renovations to ensure the Hall remains a welcoming and functional space for generations to come.

This exciting phase includes crucial roof repairs, a clock tower restoration, and plans for a new roof and significant internal improvements, including a lift, better storage, and modern kitchen facilities.

While these renovations are ongoing, the Hall remains open, offering a program of films, music, and drama performances – ensuring the community spirit continues to thrive.
